I was lucky to photograph Blackburn Rovers captain Christopher Samba last week. I say lucky, as sometimes, in fact more often than not, footballers aren’t the easiest guys to get portraits off, five mins is usually as long as you get! Christopher on the other hand gave us as much time as we needed so I was able to get pix during the interview & some afterwards too. Amazing life story too, click here to read interview.
A couple weeks ago I spend a great day with writer Christopher Hirst covering the Thornton le Dale Show in North Yorkshire. Really good to get a commission where the brief is to wander around and take pix of whatever I want!!
Pages and a few extra pix in gallery.
Last week I joined Jonathan Brown, reporter for The Independent, as he tried his hand at Ventriloquism with the help of professional ventriloquist John Kimmon at his home in Sheffield. Story was published on Saturday 7th August, always good to see the images used big!!
Tearsheet & selection of photo’s below!
Spend a busy couple of days driving around Yorkshire for NHS Yorkshire & The Humber. The brief was to get as many different NHS jobs as possible. The finished posters and banners are being used to promote the take up of the flu jab to NHS Staff.
